Dr. Derek Slagle

CO-OWNER

Derek R. Slagle, Ph.D. is the Director of the School of Public Affairs at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and tenured Associate Professor of Public Administration. He previously served as the Director of the UALR Survey Research Center, the only academic survey research center in the state of Arkansas. He is an Arkansas Governor-appointed Commissioner (2019-2022; 2022-2025) where he has administrative and fiduciary oversight for Arkansas’ service and volunteer priorities (e.g., AmeriCorps). Dr. Slagle has contracted with more than 25 nonprofits & local, state, and federal agencies on funded contracts and research.  Dr. Slagle has worked for the Arkansas House of Representatives and assisted the Arkansas Governor’s Red Tape Reduction Working Group; Occupational Licensing Advisory Group; and the Occupational Licensure Reform Sustainability group. At the same time, he served as a state lead for Occupational Licensing Policy Learning Consortium, a project supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor and managed jointly by the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Council of State Governments, and the National Governors Association’s Center for Best Practices His consulting work with colleagues in D.N.A. Organizational Consulting Services, L.L.P. is internationally recognized for advancement of management practices in the nonprofit sector.

Dr. Adam Williams

CO-OWNER

Adam M Williams, Ph.D. is an IPMA-HR (Public Sector Human Resources Association – PSHRA) Certified Professional and Associate Professor of Public and Nonprofit Management at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. His expertise is in hiring, performance appraisals, and organizational management particular to human resources. He teaches classes in human resources, research design, statistics, procurement, and administrative law. Along with his academic and scholarly work, Dr. Williams is a co-founder of DNA Organizational Consulting Services LLP and serves on professional and community boards for procurement and contractor services.
